New start time rules for In-Person Monthlies

We will now be starting events at 11:15 A.M. CST with a stricter rule on phone and bathroom usage in the middle of a game. Try to do this between rounds, as THE Pizza Place has been more than generous with giving us multiple hours to play here each month, but we can’t keep bleeding over into their 5 p.m. dinner hours.

New rule for Form Changes

You as a player now have free access to read all Form Changes of any fully evolved Pokémon your opponent has played, discarded, or revealed during a game.

Changed Pokémon:

• Aggron: “Intimidating Armor” now shuts down Abilities on your opponent’s Basic Pokemon while making their attacks cost two Colorless more.
• Clawitzer – BREAK: “Lock-On” now costs no Energy and allows Clawitzer – BREAK to switch to your bench.
• Maushold: “Family Attack” and “Relentless Gnaw” are now only requiring that original HP of your evolved Colorless Pokemon is 90 or less.
• Overqwil: “Dirty Press” does more bench damage but less to the Defending Pokemon for its bonus. “Pinning” now costs two Darkness Energy, does 60 damage and makes your opponent have to discard trainer cards next turn to play another trainer card.
• Shuckle – Level X: “Modifying Mold” now only applies to and from Shuckle – Level X
• Tropius – Level X: “Thriving Harvest” now works once per turn, and grabs a fixed amount of berry cards.
• Ursaring: “Intimidation Ring” now shuts down Abilities on your opponent’s Basic Pokemon while making their attacks cost two Colorless more.
• Wobbuffet – BREAK: “Right Back at You” now only costs One Psychic Energy and doesn’t require you to discard any Energy attached to Wobbuffet – BREAK.
