Make the most of this already great month with some highlander hijinks.
The self-bounty of Brennen LaMastres has extended to this month:
March Monthly Tournament Coverage
Changed Cards
- Abomasnow – Mega: “Snow Warning” stays active even when Mega Abomasnow goes to the bench. Damage counters are only placed at the end of your turn, not both.
- Cincinno: “Amazing Plea” was replaced with “Make Do.” “Do the Wave” was replaced with the “Special Roll.”
- Drapion: “Scorpion Grapple” was replaced with “Dangerous Stinger.”
- Dusknoir: “Damage Even” now has an initial extra 3 damage counters placed onto the targeted Pokémon.
- Gengar: “Poltergeist” has an initial 10 damage done by default now, before potential 30 times modifiers are added.
- Golem: “Enranged Linear Attack” does an initial 30 damage before counting the amount of damage counters on Golem.
- Iron Valiant: “Tachyon Bits” does not have a once per turn restriction and can use Energy attached to your Pokémon as the cost.
- Koraidon: “Dino Cry” now searches for two Dragon, Fire, and Fighting Energy (based off of your cost,) instead of accelerating it by meeting turn ending criteria.
- Medicham: “Force Palm” now deals damage instead of placing damage counters. The initial damage starts at 10, rather than zero.
- Oinkologne: “Maddening Scent” has an additional criteria that can be met for more damage that involves the amount of Pokémon-EX your opponent has in play.
- Pinsir – Mega: “Aerilate” has been updated to clarify “Special Energy that provide Colorless” for the bonus 10 damage. The bonus is now for any target, not just the Defending Pokémon.
- Seismitoad: “Siphon Off” was replaced with “Quaking Zone.”
- Shedinja – Level X: “Faded & Forgotten” has its top deck number based off the the remaining prize cards of your opponent instead of the player using the attack.
- Shiftry: “Darkness Fan” target count has gone from one to two while shuffling Pokémon-EX targets into the deck now. “Seal Off” turns off Poké-Powers for your opponent’s Pokémon-EX as well.
- Thievul: “Thief” was replaced with “Baffling.”
- Thundurus: “Raging Thunder Punch” now places 1 damage counter on all of your opponent’s Basic Pokémon. The bonus damage now activates if the Defending Pokémon is an EX, not just specifically for having a Pokémon Tool card.
- Unown – Level X: “Writing on the Wall” has had all four of its criteria numbers changed from “2 cards left in their deck / no Benched Pokémon / 2 prize cards remaining / 6 or more Pokémon in the Lost Zone” to “under 11 cards left in their deck / under 2 Benched Pokémon / under 3 prize cards remaining / 5 or more Pokémon in the Lost Zone”
- Zebstrika: “Zap Zone” now applies to your Pokémon that have Lightning Energy attached to them. Disconnect now does 20 less damage and costs one less Colorless Energy.
